To determine agricultural effects on a 4 km section of Creighton Creek above its mouth, 5 samples were tested within 30 days at each of 3 sites on that creek: CR17, CR13, CR00
Those 30 days saw unseasonably dry weather, so then 1 sample was taken at 3 Sites on the Creek after 2 weeks of rainy weather: CR21, CR14, CR13.
A comparison of the E.coli counts at the 3 sites sampled 5 times in this project point to a range of possible sources over approximately 3 km of creek flow. E.coli numbers increased from a geometric mean of just over 73 at the upstream site to one of over 434 downstream. Numbers were about half the latter at a third site further downstream.
